Still watching the Granada TV series feat. Jeremy Brett as Holmes (he's the best onscreen Holmes, IMHO), David Burke as Dr. Watson (Season 1) and Edward Hardwicke as Dr. Watson (Season 2 and the rest). I am also listening to the BBC radio production of Sherlock Holmes, with Clive Merrison (who is TEH AWESOME) as Holmes and Michael Williams as Dr. Watson.
(Nearly gave the IT people apoplexy, it seems, when I downloaded all that stuff. )

Summary: Spoilers for Naruto 367. 4th Hokage × Kushina. Uzumaki Kushina proves to Namikaze Minato you can run away, even when you don’t go anywhere at all, because distance isn’t just a matter of the physical.
Author’s note: I want to give a shoutout to runaway_achu, whose works simply rocks, and from where the title was partly ‘inspired’ from. This is partly an attempt to flesh out Kushina’s character (as I envision her in my head) as well as Minato. God, I’m obsessed with this pairing.

Author’s notes: I did this as an attempt to try and flesh out Kushina’s character more. We know very little about her, so it was kind of fun trying to figure out what she was like. There are two pieces of the story, and they're quite short, in truth.

I have signed up for the infamous NaNoWriMo 2007, and must average 2,000 words per day, which means around 5 pages per day.
I need to shoot myself in the head.
So far, I don't have much of a plot. I'm contemplating on writing a series of interconnected short stories instead of an actual novel. That would seem much easier than other stuff. I'd like to focus on the supernatural, mostly vampires, witches, werewolves, and other creatures that go bump in the night.
Or I just go for fanfiction. Which would be easier, I think.

Finally got my computer fixed. Bad news is, it doesn't have sound, so I need to download some sound device or drivers (most likely RealTek), so I can finally hear some tunes.
And I'm finally a Windows XP user, after being a Windows 98 loyalist for two years.
I hate it when my computer goes bye-bye. Now I need to reupload the programs and everything else. *sigh*
As for my fics, be not afraid, I have them saved in my flash drive, so they're relatively saved. Made some good progress in the ByaRuki fic, Again, this Friday, fleshing out more of the IchiRuki backstory.
I'm very much a Rukia fan, so I don't really mind whoever Rukia ends up with, as long as she's the one who made the choice. I am partial to IchiRuki and ByaRuki, though.
...now I need to go back and write.

I hate being sick.
But what I hate the most is not being to be able to buy the book I've been dying to purchase because someone else reserved it.
NOOOOOOOOO! *cries*
I saw George RR Martin's Dreamsongs on the reserved section of a local bookstore and I just simply melted. I just got my salary (and therefore flushed with cash, nach!), and I was about to buy his Fevere Dreams (and I was doing this while sick with fever, mind), when I saw it.
My math and economics professors would be proud if they had seen me making feverish calculations and budgeting (with my cellphone calculator) on how much I should spend on other stuff (like food, shoes, and medicine) so I can buy the book (and still be alive).
Somehow, I got to reserve one, but I won't get it until next week. *sigh*
